ACI 224R-01

Cracks detract from the appearance of concrete structures, and may indicate major structural problems. ACI 224R-01, Control of Cracking in Concrete Structures, covers the principal causes of cracking and also recommends crack-control procedures. The document also discusses the long-term effects of cracking. ACI 224R-01 is a revision of 224R-90. The updates include:
