Aggregates for Concrete

An ACI Education Bulletin. Describes types of aggregates normally used in concrete, aggregate properties affecting performance of the concrete, tests used to measure aggregate properties, and methods used to obtain test samples. Both normal weight and lightweight aggregates are discussed.
