API's new edition of Specification Q1, Specification for Quality Management System Requirements for Manufacturing Organizations for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry, efficiently meets industry demands for an improved quality management system among manufacturing organizations. The new edition of Spec Q1 contains 85+ new requirements and 5 new sections. Additional advantages of the new edition include an extended one-year implementation period; correlation charts highlighting differences between the 8th and 9th Editions; and close alignment with API Spec Q2 in order to facilitate quality requirements for organizations that have both Q1 and Q2 operations.
