It may also be used to verify the breaking capacity of moulded-case circuit-breakers within interrupting ratings of 3 kA to 10 kA, which otherwise fall within the scope of AS 3111. Additional requirements may apply to miniature overcurrent circuit-breakers in approvals regulations.
