Sets out requirements covering identification, mixing of ANFO, charging, firing, misfires, disposal of surplus and defective explosives, special hazards associated with blasting, and includes appendices covering matters such as firefighting, types of exploders, testing for stray currents, safe distances for electric detonators subject to radio frequency radiation, deterioration of explosives, preparation of primers and preparation for firing, firing circuit connections, equipment and its maintenance, destruction of explosives by burning and factors affecting ground vibration.
