Specifies a grade of activated alumina suitable for use in packaging, as indicated in BS 1133:Section 19. Covers particle size, absorptive capacity, pH reaction, loss on ignition, and includes limits for ammonia and ammonium compounds, water-soluble chlorides and sulphates, particle breakdown and dust. Test methods are described.
