The method for the range 250 to 600 Btu/ft3, using the Boys water-flow calorimeter, is based on the procedure in the General Directions to Gas Examiners, issued by the Ministry of Power. Modifications are described for the ranges 80 to 250 Btu/ft3 and 600 to 3500 Btu/ft3. The use of the bomb calorimeter for gases above 2200 Btu/ft3 or, with modifications, for gases of lower calorific value, is also described.

All current amendments available at time of purchase are included with the purchase of this document.
