The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) conducted a joint survey to measure home illuminance for the purpose of optimizing power measurement of TVs that include Automatic Brightness Control (ABC). The survey collected 234 samples, 199 of which were deemed valid.
