This standard provides guidance for setting up and maintaining a corrosion management system for existing conventionally reinforced concrete structures using risk-based management of corrosion to maintain the safe operation of structures and plants and to minimize the risk of unexpected failures and unplanned closures and outages. The corrosion management system is broken down into three parts: organization and management, planning and implementation, and performace of the corrosion management team. This standard is maintained by Task Group (TG) 400.
